The first thing you notice about the Kings Head is the lack of an apostrophe in its name, either on the frontage or the pub sign, which depicts the King of Hearts from the traditional deck of cards. The second is the inside of the pub, which the large windows make easily visible from the street. The pub is renowned for live entertainment, with comedy, live music on Fridays and jazz on Sunday afternoons. There is also a quiz on Wednesday nights. There is some exposed brickwork, floorboards throughout except round the bar were there are mosaic tiles. The walls are adorned with photos of comedians, and there is plenty of comfortable seating to study them from. There is an extensive menu.
