Large single bar pub specialising in Iberian food. Only cask beer is Draught Bass. Good value pints.
A fine brick and stucco public house now painted blue. In the pediment are the words Hoxton Distillery, which gives a clue to the origins of the building. When first built it was a gin distillery, using water from an underground spring. Formerly the White Hart it takes its name from a superb Victorian tile painting in the bar of the banquet scene from Macbeth.
