Reopened in Feb 2018 after a £600k investment by Stonegate which has brought the basement back into use as a jazz music venue - the Jam & Rye bar (open from 5pm and all day Sunday). Both craft and cask beer are advertised. It is a large single room pub with booths and larger tables at front street-side entrance, adjacent to Highbury and Islington station.
