19/12/22 - Noted last night as closed and boarded up.

This place never reopened after the first lockdown. It has very recently reopened as Jacks Bar; no obvious website to date, but it looks like some kind of American diner/dive bar. It is very unlikely that any of the info on this page is accurate except for the name change.

Previously - Changed name to Upper House - so what follows (other than the impressiveness of the building) is likely to be out of date, relating to its previous incarnation.

Dead Dolls House began as a ‘pop-up’ in Dalston, temporarily moved to Hoxton Square before taking up permanent residence in this impressive three-storey Victorian townhouse. It describes itself as a multi-functional, multi-sensory experimental pleasure palace, dedicated to the creative pursuits of dining, drinking, art and entertainment. But not if you fancy a drop of cask beer! Visit the web site to get a flavour of the place. The Parlour bar situated on the ground floor is their public bar. The Dead Dolls House is part of East Born Project run by Gregory Barry, Morten Jensen, Darren Collins & Paul Harrington.
