Wet your whistle (and appetite) with a cider and cheese tasting at Holborn’s Perseverance

One of the best accompaniments to cheese is cider! This tutored tasting, at 2pm on Saturday 21st June, will cover 4 different ciders with 4 different cheeses for you to see for yourself how well they go together and to find out a little more about how traditional cider is made.

This tasty event is part of the Lamb’s Conduit Summer Solstice Street Fair, an annual family-friendly celebration hosted by local businesses. There will also be a dog show, waiter’s race, raffle and much more to enjoy along the street.

To add to the celebration, The Perseverance and The Lady Ottoline pubs will be hosting their first Bloomsbury Beer and Cider Social featuring 15 British breweries and cider makers, including south London craft ale producers Mondo and Drop Project. The Perseverance ’s full list is below

The festival will run from midday-11pm with experts from Timothy Taylor and Gosnells breweries who will host a tap takeover at the Lady Ottoline and offer hourly guided tastings until 3pm.
