Oxford Beer Festivals
Not CAMRA, but in the next couple of weeks, there are two great things going down. Please come yourself or suggest to those you know who like beer.
22nd June. Oxford. Change Is Brewing. Not CAMRA, but Tap Social, the hosts, are a fantastic social enterprise and there will be more cask than before, but the keg that they and guests do is fantastic. A very positive small brewery event (15 brewers present) with a nice vibe. (Short bus hop from Oxford station or 20 min walk). Check out the Change is Brewing 2024 website for further details.
29 June. Oxford. Charlbury Beer Festival. It’s not CAMRA but one of the UK’s biggest 1 day festivals (for local charities) and beers picked by Matt from the Oxford branch. Music and it hosts the world Aunt Sally Championship. Charlbury station is opposite the event (3 mins walk) and on the Paddington/Oxford/Worcester line, so easy from London (and many other palces).
Check out the Charlbury Beer Festival website for further details.
Oxford is a great place to visit. If these events don’t suit we’re always happy to host visitors who like a beer, so let us know if you want to visit.
