There were works going on inside William IV on Shepherdess Walk, N1 yesterday (19 Aug 2023). It looks like it will be reopening soon, which is good news. CAMRA Pub Protection objected to the loss of the function room on the first floor, but permission was granted in Feb 2022 - Planning Application 2021/0064 : Change of use at 1st & 2nd floor levels from Public House (Sui Generis) to residential. CAMRA are disappointed at the loss of what was previously an upstairs function room, but are pleased that the pub will soon be reopening.
