NW2 Brewery gets Lockdown Hero Award

Friday 4 December 2020

CAMRA, the Campaign for Real Ale, has just awarded Moncada Brewery its very own Lockdown Hero Award.

The Award is just one of a handful that are being given out by the North London Branch of CAMRA for pubs and breweries that have supported the community during the pandemic.

John Cryne, CAMRA’s Brewery Liaison Officer for Moncada, said, “It’s a really hard time for pubs and breweries at the moment and London being in Tier 2 has added to the pressure. We are all missing using the pubs in a normal, social fashion. It’s great to acknowledge what people such as Julio Moncada and his team have been doing to keep people supplied with their beer; Julio even does the deliveries himself”.
