Opened in early 2018, the High Cross is a new public house, situated in the former 1920s public conveniences located in the heart of Tottenham. Large range of keg beers with a number from locals such as Redemption, Beavertown and Bohem. The premises has been named The High Cross due to the nearby historic monument that marked the centre of Tottenham Village in the 17th century. Located in the Tottenham Green Conservation Area.

The initial restoration project was part funded by the Mayor of London’s Growth on the High Road project, which aims to improve Tottenham High Road and make it a more attractive place to shop, meet and socialise.

From The Nudge, "After lying abandoned for years, the team have polished up the fairytale, mock Tudor facade, illuminated the Ladies & Gentlemen signs once more, and opened their doors as a cosy, unexpected little boozer. Inside, you’ll find the original tiling scrubbed up, a new wooden floor put down, and a smattering of candlelit tables and chairs, while postcards of old Tottenham adorn the walls and flowers in old jars sit in the windows."
