See more about this pub on WhatPub, CAMRA's national pub guide.

Opened in 1994 as Henry's - a new Free House/cafe bar in former shop premises. Renamed BRASSERIE LES SANS-CULOTTES, No (British) real ale. French brewpub opened at the end of November 2001 in former Italian restaurant premises. Narrow entrance leads through to bar area with restaurant at rear. Bare wooden floor, metallic balustrading, white painted ceiling and rugby football theme. Authentic French style unfiltered (cloudy) beers dispensed Ey gas pressure from vessels behind the bar, comprising La Blonde (4%), a German malty Steinbach çils, La Rouge (4.2%) a red style beer, La Rousse (4.6%) a bitter and La Speciale (4.8%), a stronger lager using a mixture of Pilsen and Munich malts. The brewery equipment in the cellar (6,000 litres brew length) was brought from Brazil by BBG. The two brewers, Gildas Petit and Frederic Cesme, learnt their skills at a brewpub in Cherbourg Food includes sandwiches and a drink for £5, Flanenkuches (speciality of Alsace) and quiche. Open 9.30am (for breakfast) -11pm Mon-Sat, 11- io.:o Sun. A surprising and welcome addition to the London pub scene. Closed 18 months later. This was followed by a number of restaurants / cocktail bars, the latest being Circus.
