Planning 2022/3984/P granted 3/08/2023 Erection of a single storey rear extension at second floor, two storey mansard roof extension with terraces to increase HMO accommodation. PV panels, creation of new entrances on the side and front elevations on ground floor and retention of C3 dwelling. Pub to be retained. However now on the market via LTG for £3.8m (pub sold in 2021 for £2.4m)

This pub failed to reopen in April. On walking past yesterday evening, two signs were spotted outside the pub advertising it for sale; this information is corroborated on the estate agents' website. See: https://www.martyngerrard.co.uk/properties/14016937/sales

Two handpumps not in use - showing that the pub used to sell Pedigree and Directors but according to bar staff it has been some time since they last did so. Shame as this is an impressive pub both out and in with a splendid array of foliage and hanging baskets covering the frontage. Food served until 10pm
