23/08/21 - "I checked the Unicorn's website and facebook where they were advertising live gigs coming up including an "all-dayer" occuring on sat 21st august ... I passed the pub on the saturday on the bus when the gig was supposed to be on and it was closed. I then went there myself on sunday and it was all closed up with black curtains drawn .... the only visible signage was stating that it was closed from 20th March until further notice .... So ... not opened yet ,,,, and the advertised gig for saturday looks like it didn;t happen"

Reopened and seemingly no longer Greene King. A large corner pub with car parking and live music. From the Camden New Journal 15/11/17 - A Camden Town pub which doubles up as music venue has been boarded up – but operators say it will not be closed forever. And that now seems to be the case. All and any info on hours and beers welcome.

The Unicorn pub in Camden Road will be shut for three months after being bought new owners. The bar has been a favourite stop for fans of punk, rock and metal bands. Gig bookers said on a Facebook update that the venue had been sold, adding: “The new owners have said they wish to carry on as we are once the 3 months have passed so I’m currently waiting for more info.”

Fans left messages in support of keeping it the way it is. “One of the best venues we have had the pleasure to play at,” said one musician. “Hope this all gets up and running again as venues like this are few and far between.”
